The best tower speakers deliver dynamic, full-range sound with gorgeous bass. They can stand on their own or represent the centerpiece of a home theater. GOLDENEAR TECHNOLOGY TRITON SEVEN: $1,398
This is a rather small tower with an awesome value proposition. The Triton Seven is defined by a flat response, which increases in the highs. The performance is -3dB point at 49 Hz vs. 62 Hz.

PARADIGM MONITOR 11: $1,598
This tower costs less than $1,600. The Paradigm Monitor delivers gorgeous bass (-3dB point at 42 Hz). The Monitor is priced for excellent value and has a very satisfying performance with movies and music.

DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY BP-8060ST: $1998
The Definitive Technology, based on a 2011 update, demonstrates a unique proposition among today´s tower offerings. This tower is a bipolar speaker and radiates sound from the front and back baffles of the speaker. The Definitive Technology is sensitive to room placement. You should place it out a bit from the back and you will be rewarded with an amazing deep, 3D sound that only a few speakers can match.

SVS ULTRA TOWER, $2,000
The SVS is popular for its excellent subwoofers. The dynamics of the tower are very strong with a powerful deep bass output. The size is perfect and the build quality is stunning. The tower is nearly 4 feet tall and 16 inches deep.

MARTIN LOGAN MOTION 40 SPEAKER SYSTEM: $2,000
The Martin Logan Motion tower comprises transparent sounding and is just beautiful in its shape. The performance measured -3dB point at 48 Hz. The Motion provides you with passive speakers at low price, and a folded diaphragm magnetic planar tweeter. The tweeter helps to capturing some of the transient speed.

GOLDENEAR TECHNOLOGY TRITON THREE: $2,198
This tower has a very good value proposition. Performance of the Triton Three measures -3dB at 27 Hz, which is sufficient for theater use without a sub. Furthermore, the Triton Three features sonic signature from the mid-bass on up.

PSB IMAGINE T: $2,200
The PSB is characterized by a deliciously natural midrange and detailed high end. If you are into neutral musicality, you cannot go wrong with this tower. The build quality is very good and it comes with nice woodgrain options. If you want useful bass output below 40 Hz, you will have to mate it with a subwoofer.

MONITOR AUDIO SILVER 10: $2,500
This tower delivers sweet highs and image like nobody. The tower features a 1-inch dome and magnesium with a ceramic layer. The character is high-end, which should be interesting for detail freaks. Further, it features a smooth, uncolored midrange. Performance was measured in the mid-30 Hz range.

DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY MYTHOS STS SUPER TOWER: $2,998
This tower features highly neutral and dynamic sound. We measured bass down to about 30 Hz (3dB at 38 Hz). If you are on a tighter budget, the STS remains as an excellent choice.

MARTIN LOGAN ELECTRO MOTION ESL: $2,998
This tower is Martin Logan´s least expensive speaker. It features dipole radiators with sound that comes from back and front. The tower is sensitive to placement and works in his best, if he is pulled out from the back. The large radiating panel delivers deep and gorgeous music. The sound has such a transparency and deep detail, that you are able to hear into each note. You really have to hear it to believe it.
